What is the difference between transparent bubble bags and kraft paper bubble bags?
Transparent bubble bags provide full product visibility and are lower cost — the correct choice when contents identification during storage, transit, or retail display is operationally important, and when the packaged product has no sharp edges or abrasive surfaces that would stress the film. Are transparent bubble bags suitable for ESD-sensitive electronics?
No. Standard transparent PE film has no anti-static or ESD-dissipative properties. Packaging ESD-sensitive components — PCBs, ICs, sensors — in transparent bubble bags risks electrostatic discharge damage during handling and transit. Which bubble specification should I choose — 10mm or 28mm?
Standard 10mm bubble is appropriate for most light consumer goods, accessories, and small fragile items — the smaller bubble diameter provides even surface coverage and is sufficient for products under approximately 500g. Large 28mm bubble is suited to heavier or more fragile items that benefit from greater cushioning depth per bubble, or for products with uneven surfaces where larger bubbles conform better to the shape. Yes. The PE film is heat-sealable. Specify the open-end format when ordering, and the bag can be sealed using a standard impulse heat sealer on your production or packing line after loading the product. This option is preferred when a tamper-evident seal or a cleaner finished appearance is required.
